While the intentions behind this video are good, I do not think it is actually helpful. It was intended to be funny but I myself do not find it that funny. The intended audience of this video seems to be millennials because Paul says, “apparently us millennials aren’t wearing our masks.” I would like to point out that most millennials are technically well into adulthood, since that generation is defined as being born between 1981–1996. I believe that a lot of the references in the video are actually directed towards members of generation Z. He references Billie Eilish, who is only 18 years old and not a millenial. At one point in the video, Paul is in front of a tik tok background that appears to be a dorm room which doesn’t exactly add up either. Overall, the video is a light hearted lecture but it doesn’t exactly make sense to me. Although, I am sure many “boomers” will find it hilarious.
